Our Digital DNA

In the middle of the 00’s internet access improved with faster broadband connections, stronger computers, and better software. It was only then we could implement the promises of the late 20th century’s it boom. Soft has been a publishing company
since 1998 and web agency since 2005. Today we are a
digital design studio.

Every soft site since 2011 has been designed and developed with HTML5/CSS for optimal user experience on tablets and smartphones, in addition to desktops.

Motion and Emotion

Soft design and development are more than flat UI and design. We believe that most site visitors want more than PDF-functioning one pages and this is why we add rich media, video, GIF’s, animations and JavaScript hover functions to guide the visitors to central messages and relevant content.

Large Scale Web Projects

Soft has created responsive corporate sites for Influence, Defens, SatPoint and Narrative and campaign sites for TeliaSonera, Alfa Laval, and EMC.

We developed large-scale web projects about coffee for Arvid Nordquist roastery and their brand Classic, with animations and lots of videos. We produced a site with many integrated 3D interiors and objects for Anticimex about water damages and humidity problems in real estate.

With improved CSS, better browsers and education, we created a large-scale .NET web project for Kährs on SiteCore and TeliaSonera on Oracle’s EBM with Tieto. We have integrated websites in WordPress since 2008.

Since 2013 has every Soft site deployed been integrated with WordPress except this one, Soft 7.0, that we created in Wix.

Storytelling, Content and Design

Soft has developed a certain skill when it comes to manage and design large-scale operations and their web sites. We can make complex content smart, find the leading thread and create an intriguing story and visualize the result with Scandinavian design.

We write in English and Swedish and collaborate with other translators for multi-languages sites. We create and integrate video integrerar video and menus, sometimes in layers, in order for the sites to be intuitive, easy to navigate and use, flexible and versatile.

The Soft Way to Sharp Web Sites

We use to start our website projects with a workshop with the clients and necessary stakeholders. Before the workshop we interview vital stakeholders in order to understand as much as possible before entering the workshop.

We write web copy and design the first mockups parallel with the development of the web prototype, wireframes, and sitemap. With this process, the different disciplines cross-fertilize each other and the result is often in depth-content with a refined quality. Soft sites are very versatile and have long durability.
